Terms of use
Last updated: 24 August 2026
By downloading or using Auric you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Auric is a mobile app that helps you train speaking confidence. You record short voice practices and receive an AI-generated Auric Score (0–100) with feedback on pace and filler words, and you can rehearse real-life conversations — dates, job interviews, small talk — in live voice calls with AI characters. Features may change, improve or be removed as the app evolves.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping any sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
Subscriptions and billing
- Auric offers auto-renewing subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us.
- Prices and the billing period are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current period continues until it expires.
- Restoring purchases is supported, so an active subscription can be reactivated on a new device with the same store account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Contact us and we will help where we can.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Auric for unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative or abusive purposes, including in AI conversations;
- record other people without their knowledge or consent;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, resell or overload the service;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
AI feedback is not professional advice
Auric Scores, transcripts, archetypes and conversation feedback are generated automatically and are intended for self-improvement and entertainment only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, career or financial advice, and they can be inaccurate. Decisions you make based on them are your own.
Your content
You keep ownership of your recordings and transcripts. You grant us the limited licence needed to process them so the app can generate transcripts, scores, voices and feedback, as described in our privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
Auric is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction placeholder], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law grants you another forum.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
